A Time for Stories

Synopsis

A Time For Stories is set within a literary convention in New Delhi, India.

Students and writers from all over India as well as some European writers come together to participate in workshops about storytelling. This stimulating atmosphere threw up many issues - the importance of art, communication to personal identity. The film focuses on the many personal stories that were told in this week.

A Time for Stories ends with an aspiring writer's interview with the recipient of the Katha Chudammani Award - Su Raa. A charming and candid conversation that is akin to a torchbearer passing on the flame to younger generations to take forward.
